What Types of Services Do Home Care Providers Deliver?
As America’s trusted home care providers, Visiting Angels® offers a comprehensive collection of services, each one customized to your loved one’s needs. Our caregivers provide the support and assistance your loved one needs to continue living safely at home.
At Visiting Angels, we recognize this is often a time of stress. Many families come to us with immediate care needs. While we act quickly to pair our clients with qualified caregivers, we often start by explaining exactly what kinds of services you can expect from our home care providers.
Every care relationship we enter starts with a thorough consultation with you and your family to understand your concerns and needs. We can then confer with other caregivers involved in your loved one’s care, including physicians, nursing staff, social workers, and occupational or physical therapists. Together, we can create a plan that meets your loved one’s care needs and helps keep your loved one safe at home.
Home Care Providers: Personalized Services
At Visiting Angels, we believe the best way to provide care is to provide personalized home care services. Your needs are different from your neighbors or friends. We’ll never ask you to choose from a menu of services. Instead, we’ll create a care plan that ensures your loved one has the support they need when they need it.
The compassionate caregivers at Visiting Angels can be there to:
- Offer companion care and friendly conversation
- Shop for groceries
- Run errands
- Assist with bathing and dressing
- Perform light housekeeping
- Prepare meals per a recommended diet
- Provide medication reminders
- Provide transportation to family activities and doctor appointments
- Enable the delivery of medical equipment
We recognize your needs are unique, so we provide care that is flexible and matches your senior loved one’s schedule or routine. Our caregivers are available during the day, evening, and overnight. Caregiver visits can be scheduled for weekdays, weekends, or holidays. Additionally, around-the-clock care can be arranged by most of our locations*.
We also work with families who have short-term care needs. Seniors returning home after a hospital stay, often require short-term care assistance to help with recovery. Through our Ready-Set-Go Home program, we provide care that helps reduce the possibility of hospital readmission.
In the case of palliative care needs, we assist those suffering from serious and chronic illnesses while they undergo treatment. We work in concert with all other medical personnel to help improve the quality of life for your entire family.
Seniors who wish to remain living safely in their own homes trust our home care providers to support them in numerous ways. We are here to be the bridge between your loved one and their community, routine, and needs. With Visiting Angels, your loved one will never be alone.
* Not all locations provide around-the-clock care. Please check with your local Visiting Angels office for availability.
